저는 과거의 것으로 지금의 나를 표현하는 사람입니다. 

랩이라는 것을 처음 할 때, d angelo의 voodoo, rakim guru, j dilla, a.t.c.q, dillon cooper, big L 등 그런 그루브들을 참 좋아했습니다. 한 2013년도 즈음이니 그 떄도 옛 음악들이었던 거 같습니다. 이번에 영석이형과 함께하게 되어 그 당시의 기억과 함께 제 생각들을 가사로 써서, c o f f e e !라는 곡을 발매할 수 있었고, 그 당시부터 보관하고 있던 제 취향이 반영된 듯 합니다. 사람 취향이 으레 그렇듯 바뀌기도 하겠지만, 뭐 대충 그런 틀 안에서 제 작품을 하나씩 포개가고 있습니다. 표현하는 방법이 달라지더라도 앞으로 나올 앨범에도 그 느낌이 묻어있을 듯 합니다. 꼭 과거에 파묻혀서 살고 싶은 생각은 아닙니다만, 고르고 보면 그래서 이 선택이 끝날 때까지는 이런 음악으로 찾아오겠습니다.

Around 2013, I started rapping, and at that moment, I used to listen to D Angelo’s voodoo, rakim, guru, j villa, a.t.c.q., Dillon Cooper, or Big L. At that moment, those were my favorite grooves. So, I’ve had that memory, and this time I had a chance to make track with 0seok. I wrote my lyrics on his jazzy sampled beat, and we released the song ‘c o f f e e !’ Which reflect my part of taste. Like people do, maybe my taste is changeable, but, I make it in my own present frame. The taste will be in my next album too; even the way I express myself could change. Not the old ones represent me, but, when I choose one, it does. Until my choice gets changed, I’ll be back with those kinds of music.
