We've been into music since 2007,
Hours and hours in our studio,
then someone showed up and said:
Do you wanna play a show?.

Entering this marquee,
full of beer and laughter.
All of our body cells are screaming:
Great disaster!

Stage destruction,
broken mics and cables.
Still we're playing our songs,
the people stood on tables.

There's an influential culture
boss we've ran into.
He said: I'll give you a stage
but promotion's up to you.
Spraying our faces on
streets like lawbreakers,
but never mind:
No one will ever know,
just local papers.

First time blinded by spotlights,
blood running
through our veins like cold
frozen cubes of ice.
Playing our very first show
in the town hall, pretty sure
we won't disgrace ourselves
before the curtain call.

5 years of collecting memories.

Filling urban places with
our street music sessions,
at least 200 people stopped and
stared with lots of questions.
Never seen a wooden box,
two guitars and three voices
creating such good music
instead of painful noises

Soon we were on our way to
play across the borders:
A thousand bikers
ready to ignore us.
Playing after topless DJanes,
ready to be kicked out,
then the tough guys
started jumping,
singing, twist and shout.

Playing irish pubs and clubs
all over the nation,
seeing if we're worthy
of our local reputation
Red lights in a strip club
with a pole in front of us.
But we don't care cause
these locations show that
we are having guts.

Big festivals or 20 people
in a basement:
We've played every venue
and we've left them
with amazement.
Years and years of playing shows,
dropping an EP:
Essentially we sold out
every record. OMG!

And then we took the next
step on the ladder
with the experience
we have gathered.
Focusing on reaching higher levels
that really matter.
Famous a-celebrities
talking about their lemon trees,
saying: You've got to distinguish
between friends and enemies.

Because today you are a rockstar,
driving a sports car.
Tomorrow you can be a waiter
in your favorite sports bar.
Break:
You've always got to be who you are!
Best thing we have learned so far!

So we really had our first glance
of a chance in this dirty dance.
Big building with three-letters
logo and without any fans.
Dark room, silhouettes
and faceless speaking voices.
They were judging about us:
Is that art good or pointless?

We were young and
had ambitious aims,
then rejection came.
That's the point
when we felt we have lost
their deceptive game.
Bad luck? Our fate took its course,
even if it slapped us thard
with an unexpected force.

So the possibilities of
proving ourselves came, though.
We have met the cup hero
and even there we stole the show.
Change of scene: rush of adrenaline,
biggest stage we've ever seen:
In 10 seconds you will be
on the big screen!.

Smell of haze machine..
We've never seen those lights
that went from blue to green.
Three chairs turned..
picked the A-Team.
Like: We've won the lottery!
We enjoyed the biggest stages
like in cages.
Still got low wages, getting paid
with admiring faces.

Now we're playing
well-known festivals,
still feels so incredible.
The time we'll spend
there will be really unforgettable.
We're collecting memories.
We will have stories
we can tell our children,
and they will be like:
How can it be?

So we lean back hearing
this track full of throwbacks.
Thinking about where we will play,
thinking about where we will stay.
Thinking about where we will
introduce ourselves and our name.
Thinking about telling all people:
We are SAMEDAY!
