지난 5월 19일 발매된 앨범 'That Karma' 로 독보적인 음악성과 Unique한 매력을 선보인 글로벌 걸그룹 BLACKSWAN(블랙스완)이
전 세계 팬들의 성원에 힘입어 2023년 9월 6일 오후 6시에 두 번째 싱글 앨범의 Extension 버전인 'That Karma - Pop Edition'을 발매한다.
'That Karma - Pop Edition'은 글로벌 팬들로부터 무한한 사랑을 받았던 지난 두 번째 싱글 앨범 'That Karma'의 수록곡 'Karma와 'Cat & Mouse'의 영어버전과 더불어 한 곡의 신곡이 수록될 예정으로
항상 블랙스완에게 무한한 지지와 사랑을 주는 전 세계 루미나분들에게 바치는 앨범이다.
이 앨범의 1번 트랙 Karma - English Version과 2번 트랙 Cat & Mouse - English Version은 단순히 기존 한국어 가사의 번역본을 녹음하지 않고
원곡 작곡가들이 쓴 오리지널 가사를 사용하여 원작자의 프로듀싱 의도와 오리지널리티를 청취자들에게 가감 없이 전달하며 한국어 버전의 원곡과는 다른 느낌을 전달한다.
3번 트랙이자 신곡 'A World Without Pain'은, 이 세상의 슬픔을 공유하고 위로하여 더 좋은 세상을 만들자는 취지로 프로듀싱된 곡으로 지난 'Karma' 프로모션 중
멤버 스리야의 고향이자 'Karma'의 뮤직비디오를 촬영했던 오디샤주에서 발생한 열차 사고의 희생자분들께 어떻게 하면 조금이라도 도움이 될 수 있을지 논의 끝에 나온 아이디어로 진행된 프로젝트를 통해 만들어진 곡으로
아카펠라를 기반으로 제작된 팝 장르 트랙이다. 작곡가 팀 (주)밀리언드림스 소속의 muuve와 BEATCoin이 작사, 작곡, 편곡에 참여했고 싱어송라이터 blythe의 chorus making 등 여러 프로듀서와 아티스트들이 함께 아이디어를 내고
좋은 마음으로 이 프로젝트에 동참하였다. 이 곡과 더불어 멤버들이 지난 앨범 활동 간 입었던 의상을 자선 행사를 통해 기부하는 자선 옥션 이벤트를 열어
이번 사고 희생자분들께 조금이라도 도움을 드려 여태까지 멤버들이 받았던 팬 여러분들의 무한한 사랑을 조금이라도 돌려드리고자 한다.

[That Karma - Pop Edition]의 첫번째 곡 ‘Karma - English Version'
카르마를 사전적인 의미는 '업보'다. 글로벌 그룹으로서 거듭나기 위해 셀 수 없이 많은 고난과 역경을 이겨내고 새로운 팀으로 거듭난 블랙스완이 꿈을 포기하지 않고 계속 앞으로 나아갈 것이라는 의지를 보여주고 있는
이번 앨범의 타이틀곡 'Karma'는 Itzy, Red Velvet, 청하, Twice 외 국내외 유명 아티스트들과 협업했던 프로듀서 Alina Smith, Gisselle Acevedo, Shark, A Wright, JEDI가 의기투합하여 프로듀싱에 참여하였다.
또한 이 곡의 Choreography는 이준기, KARD, 모모랜드, 김소희, 에이프릴 등의 안무를 작업했던 안무팀 Lay back의 박준우 안무가가 참여하여 블랙스완만이 표현할 수 있는 강력한 퍼포먼스와 유니크한 매력을 더욱 돋보이게 해준다.

‘Cat & Mouse’는 마치 고양이와 쥐의 관계처럼 본능적으로 끌리게 되는 이성 간의 감정과 반응을 노래하며, 매력적이고 당당한 블랙스완의 자신감이 표현되는 곡으로 미니멀리스트 베이스 중심의 트랙이다.
이 곡이 가지고 있는 독특한 멜로디는 블랙스완의 예술적인 면을 보여주지만, 랩 부분은 멤버들이 얼마나 다재다능한 아티스트인지 한번 더 각인 시켜준다.

[That Karma - Pop Edition]의 세번째 곡 'A World Without Pain'
이번 앨범의 3번째 수록곡인 A World Without Pain은 아카펠라를 기반으로 제작된 팝 장르 트랙으로 지난 6월 발생한 오디샤 열차 사고를 겪고 멤버들과 스텝들함께 숙고 끝에 의기투합하여 진행된 프로젝트로
세상의 모든 사람이 겪는 슬픔과 시련을 이겨내자는 취지에서 제작되었다. 세계 각국에선 종종 뜻하지 않게 여러 사건, 사고들이 발생하곤 한다. 우린 모두 인종도, 사용하는 언어도 다르지만 결국 모두 같은 사람이며
이 세상의 모든 아픔을 공유하고 위로하고자 블랙스완의 목소리를 담았다. 한국 외에도 여러 해외팀의 프로듀싱을 전담 하고있는 (주)밀리언드림스의 프로듀서 muuve와 BEATCoin이
작사, 작곡, 편곡에 참여했고 싱어송라이터 blythe의 chorus making 등 여러 아티스트들이 좋은 마음으로 이 노래의 의미를 함께하고자 이 프로젝트에 참여하였다.

'That Karma, is set to release their extension version of the 2nd single album 'That Karma - Pop Edition on 6th of September 2023 at 6pm(KST) globally.
'That Karma - Pop Edition' contains both English version of 'Karma' and Cat & Mouse' from the previous album 'That Karma', which were loved endlessly by global fans.
This album is dedicated to lumina around the world who always give BLACKSWAN unlimited love and support.
This album's abovementioned tracks do not simply be recorded tanslations of existing Korean lyrics, but use original lyrics written
by original producers to convey their intention and originality to listeners. Therefore, it conveys somewhat different feelings from the Korean version of the songs.
The third track and a new song 'A World Without Pain' has been produced with the aim of sharing the sadness of this world and
comforting it to create a better world. It's a song that was made through a project that came up with the idea of how to help
the victims of the train accident happened in Odisha, the hometown of Sriya, as well as the music video location for 'Karma'.
This song is a pop genre track based on acappella. muuve and BEATCoin from the producing team (주)밀리언드림스 participated in the lyrics, composition, and arrangement, and several other producers and artists,
including a singer song writer blythe's chorus making, came up with ideas and joined the project with positive intention. In addition to this song, a charity auction event will be held to donate the outfits that the members
wore during the last album's promotion. We would like to give at least a little help to the victims of this accident and return even a little bit of the infinite love of the Lumina that the members have received so far.

was written and produced by producer Alina Smith, Gisselle Acevedo, Shark, A Wright and JEDI who have produced various songs for ITZY, Red Velvet, Chung Ha, Twice etc. 'Karma' is a song of dangerous but unstoppable attraction, and the lyrics are characterized by honestly having what you want at this moment.
In addition, choreographer 박준우 of the team Lay back, who worked on choreography such as 이준기, KARD, Momoland, 김소희, and April, participated in the song's Coreography, further highlighting the powerful performance and unique charm that only BLACKSWAN can express.

The song was written by Keith Askey, Jeff Shum, Rosina "Soaky" Russell, John Ho, and A Wright, who made numerous hits by top-level artists such as Maroon 5, Kendrick Lamar, Demi lovato and Chloe Bailey.
The choreography of the song also created by 박준우 of Lay back, who presents a soft and sweet performance contrary to the powerful performance of the title song "Karma," showing another charm of BLACKSWAN.

The third track of the album, 'A World Without Pain', is a pop genre track based on acappella, a project that was carried out after deliberation with the members and the staff shortly after the Odisha train accident happened in June 2023. Many tragic accidents
often occur unexpectedly all around the world. We're all different in terms of races and languages, but we are all the same people after all. We intended to put BLACKSWAN's beautiful voice to share and comfort all the pain in the world.
From the producing team (주)밀리언드림스, muuve and BEATCoin participated in the song, and several artists, including singer-songwriter blythe's chorus making, participated in the project to share the meaning
of the song with a good intention. Through this project, it will be an opportunity to think about how to return the great love BLACKSWAN is receiving from the fans, and show their ambition to make further efforts to ease the pain of the victims.
