[SONGS THAT CARE]는 음악으로 세상에 선한 영향력을 전하고자 JYP엔터테인먼트에서 진행한 뮤직 콘테스트다. "Any songs to create a better future for the world!’를 주제로 공모를 진행하여 한국을 비롯한 전 세계에서 음악을 사랑하는 많은 사람들이 활발히 참여하였다. 성별, 나이, 인종 등 어떤 것에도 차별받지 않고 누구나 꿈꿀 수 있는 세상, 사회적 약자(여성, 아동, 노인, 장애인 등)가 존중받는 세상, 다양한 생명들이 평화롭게 공존하는 지구 등 다채로운 메시지의 곡들이 접수되었다.

'Better Day'는 이 콘테스트의 대상 수상곡으로, 삶에 지친 이들이 마음을 치유하고 다시 일어설 수 있는 힘을 전하는 메시지를 담고 있다. Young K (DAY6)는 직접 이 곡의 가사를 쓰고 가창함으로서 음악으로 더 나은 세상을 만드는데 마음을 더했다. 또한, 이 노래를 듣는 사람들이 우리 모두는 누군가에게 소중한 존재라는 것을 기억하고 서로를 응원해주면 좋겠다는 진심도 전하였다.

'Better Day' 음원 수익금은 JYP엔터테인먼트의 대표 사회공헌활동 EDM치료비지원사업 파트너기관인 '국립암센터'에 기부되어, 취약계층 소아청소년암 아이들의 치료비로 사용될 예정이다.

[SONGS THAT CARE] is a music contest held by JYP Entertainment to have a good influence on the world through music. The contest was held under the theme of "Any songs to create a better future for the world!" and many people who love music from all over the world, including Korea, participated enthusiastically. A variety of songs were received, including a world that anyone can dream of without being discriminated against by gender, age, race, etc., a world where the socially disadvantaged (women, children, the elderly, the disabled, etc.) are respected, and our planet where various lives coexist peacefully.

'Better Day' which is the grand prize winner of the contest, contains a message that gives strength to those who are tired of life to heal their minds and stand up again. Young K (DAY6) joined in creating a better world with music by writing the lyrics and singing the song himself. He also expressed his sincerity that it would be nice for the people listening to this song to remember that we are all precious to someone and cheer for each other.

Profits from the song 'Better Day' will be donated to the "National Cancer Center," a partnership organization of JYP Entertainment's social contribution activity_EDM medical treatment support program, and will be used as treatment expenses for vulnerable children with cancer.
