자신이 망가졌다는 것을, 완전히 무너져 내렸다는 것을 가장 잘 아는 사람에게 따듯한 말 한마디, 예를 들어 "괜찮아. 모든 것이 다 잘될 거야."라고 이야기해준다면 그것이 위로가 될 수도 있고, 전혀 위로가 되지 않을 수도 있다는 생각을 했습니다.
제가 본 그들은 이 세상에 대한, 사람들에 대한, 자신에 대해 너무나 큰 기대치를 안고 살아갔기 때문에 연약하고 따듯한 마음에 깊숙한 상처를 입고 피를 흘리고 있었습니다.
저는 그들이 가진 기대를 부숨으로써 그들을 위로하고 싶었습니다.
그들이 더 이상 어두운 가치관, 세상의 기대에 휘둘리지 않고 나를 증명해내야만 나 자신이 존재할 수 있다는 것이 아니라,
지금 살아 숨 쉬는 자신의 존재만으로도 누군가에겐 눈물이 나도록 의미가 있고 아름답다는 것을 깨달아 알기를 진심으로 바랍니다.

To someone who knows best that they are broken, completely shattered, offering a comforting word like "It's okay. Everything will be fine," can either be a source of solace or might not bring any comfort at all, I thought.
The ones I've observed have carried deep scars in their fragile and warm hearts, burdened by immense expectations for the world, people, and themselves.
I wanted to comfort them by breaking the expectations they held.
I hope they realize that it's not about proving their existence by surpassing dark values and societal expectations, but that their current breathing, living existence alone is meaningful and beautiful enough to bring tears to someone's eyes.
