There's an influential culture
boss we've ran into.
He said: I'll give you a stage
but promotion's up to you.
Spraying our faces on
streets like lawbreakers,
but never mind:
No one will ever know,
just local papers.
First time blinded by spotlights,
blood running
through our veins like cold
frozen cubes of ice.
Playing our very first show
in the town hall, pretty sure
we won't disgrace ourselves
before the curtain call.

our street music sessions,
at least 200 people stopped and
stared with lots of questions.
Never seen a wooden box,
two guitars and three voices
creating such good music
instead of painful noises
Soon we were on our way to
play across the borders:
A thousand bikers
ready to ignore us.
Playing after topless DJanes,
ready to be kicked out,
then the tough guys
started jumping,
singing, twist and shout.
Playing irish pubs and clubs
all over the nation,
seeing if we're worthy
of our local reputation
Red lights in a strip club
with a pole in front of us.
But we don't care cause
these locations show that
we are having guts.
Big festivals or 20 people
in a basement:
We've played every venue
and we've left them
with amazement.
Years and years of playing shows,
dropping an EP:
Essentially we sold out
every record. OMG!

Focusing on reaching higher levels
that really matter.

saying: You've got to distinguish
between friends and enemies.
Because today you are a rockstar,
driving a sports car.
Tomorrow you can be a waiter
in your favorite sports bar.

So we really had our first glance
of a chance in this dirty dance.
Big building with three-letters
logo and without any fans.
Dark room, silhouettes
and faceless speaking voices.
They were judging about us:
Is that art good or pointless?
We were young and

then rejection came.

when we felt we have lost
their deceptive game.
Bad luck? Our fate took its course,

Three chairs turned..

We enjoyed the biggest stages

Still got low wages, getting paid
with admiring faces.
Now we're playing
well-known festivals,
still feels so incredible.
The time we'll spend
there will be really unforgettable.

we can tell our children,

So we lean back hearing
